Big Little Lies mini-series Review

Series Intro ( for those who haven’t seen the series or read the book )

Based on the bestseller with the same name, and interpretations from top Hollywood C4vUNWgWEAY5JZAactors, the Big Little Lies miniseries are a black comedy that takes place in Monterey, California. It all starts with a suspicious crime at a fundraising event at an elementary school. Although the victim and aggressor are initially mysterious in mystery, this crime may have been caused by the rivalries and secrets of three mothers: housewife Madeline Mackenzie (Reese Witherspoon), who is jealous of her younger husband, Celeste Wright (Nicole Kidman), Madeline’s best friend, a former corporate lawyer with a seemingly perfect marriage with a younger man (Alexander Skarsgard), and Jane Chapman (Shailene Woodley), a single mother with a dark past, Madeline and Celeste take it under their protective wing. The story stretches over seven tense and subversive episodes, revealing how every woman had something to hide before the tragedy.

Book Review : Zilele noastre care nu vor mai fi niciodata de Cristina Nemerovschi

Zilele noastre care nu vor mai fi niciodată

by Cristina Nemerovschi

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cartea asta m-a lasat pur si simplu fara cuvinte.

Cea mai norocoasa fata by Jessica Knoll

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Actual rating : 3.5 stars (and this is me, being nice and all)

Uuuhm, yeah. It got me all worked up in the beginning just to let me down…Too bad. I thought It had potential, and maybe it would’ve had, if the author hadn’t done so much blabling and put a little more excitement and unpredictable in it. Doesn’t matter if it’s ficition. Put some spice in it, will ya?!

Book review & Favorite Quotes : It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

It Ends with Us

It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is more than just another work of art by Colleen Hoover. It is a part of her. A part of all of us. If you think you’re ready and strong enough to face everything that goes on in her book, you can read it. If not, you can still do but beware of the fact that you’ll be needing a lot of tissues.

I promised myself I won’t cry after reading it but…I’m in tears. And I mean it. I really am. She broke me real bad with this book. She brought back a lot of flashbacks of what my own mom went through, a lot…of unforgettable and unforgivable things that I still wish I could erase from my memory.

Colleen, I don’t hate you for writing this book or for bringing up memories from my childhood ! I love you all the more !

Book Review : True Calling – The Short Story Collection(True Calling #4) by Siobhan Davis

The Short Story Collection (True Calling #4)

~ I received an e-copy from the author in exchange for an honest review~

Note: It is best if you’ve  read The True Calling Series before, because it contains major spoilers

I never knew how much I was missing this excelent young adult sci-fi series, until this very moment. And it looks like Mrs. Davis still has some wonderful ideas towards continuing the series at hand. I can only congratulate her for everything she’s doing because she does a badass job !!  Read the rest of this entry

Full Review Coming Soon !!!

Oh.My.God. Well…what can I possibly say ?! It’s all so damn fresh in my head that I can barely find my words. I am not in the least sorry for finishing the book this late because… because I loved it and wanted it to last.

The last installment in The Winner’s Trilogy, is most certainly an explosive one.  A fine roller coaster ride of emotions if I might. Full of action, twists and turns and a full menu of I-sure-am-going-to-die-after-this lines – if not, chapters. Read the rest of this entry

Shannon, you have rendered me speechless with this one! And that’s a fact!

I’m still in awe by what I read. Review coming up real soon.

All you need to know is that, this duology  is the best one I’ve ever read – and I’m not just saying that cause the author is a friend, but because it is the truth. I truly recommend her books !

If it were possible I’d be giving this book no less than 10 stars !

Mia’s writing style is amazing, her books – please note that, for me this was my second book written by her that I’ve read so far, but I intend to read everything she’s written – are very fast paced, highly addictive, action packed and well written. Bet On Me promises to keep you on the edge of your seat. Her talent really pays off and you can see that in her books. I can now declare myself her forever to be fan, no doubt !

Such a fan-freaking-tastic read !!

This was one of the most funniest paranormal books I have ever read – or at least read so far. It doesn’t compare to anything at all. It is very unique and it draws you in from the very first page.
To be honest, I couldn’t turn off my kindle not even for a second because I wanted so much to know what was about to happen next in the book. Read the rest of this entry

Full Review To Come !!!

Fast Paced. Intriguing. Gripping

Just like any other book she wrote, this one stands tall. An epic read that will take you in from.the very first page and not let you go. A real page turner.

Set in a distant future, November Rain -which is the first book in the Bad Bloods duology -, takes place in a city called Vendona. A city that is divided in humans and Bad Bloods -which from my view are some sort of super humans as they all posses a different set of powers.
