Just another list of Book Facts

Today while I was at work, I thought about this and how I don’t think anyone ever dared to write about it. Why ? Maybe because we all love books to much and don’t want to drag that love and admiration for them, down, by  pointing out the ugly parts of a book. By ugly I mean those parts in a book that make you hate it so much that….
And don’t tell me about how you never got this feeling while reading a book. It’s absolutely impossible not to have, at least for once.

Here are some of the things I totally hate in a book :

1.Love triangles

Yup. They really caught you by surprise. And what a surprise that is. Now don’t get me wrong on this, I am not against them.No-oh. It’s just that well…sometimes they drive me crazy. And, let’s be honest for a moment. Some of them prove to be pointless – in some books !

2. Starting to love a character but…..

Ahh, yeah. The inevitable has happened so many times I even lost count….But wait there’s more to this ! Just when you think the author won’t do it…He actually does it.

I know the feeling all too well. The rage. The hurt. The heartache.Hard to get over.

3. Getting lost in descriptions and meaningless details

Too many details bore the hell out of a reader. What’s the point in describing every single damn thing in the smallest of details ? Keep it plain and simple. We love that.

4. Waiting for something exciting to happen

Now. Don’t be shy. Admit it ! I think we’ve all been there.

I always hate to be put on hold for an indefinite time. It gets really boring having to wait for far too long. eventually the reader puts the book down and stares blankly ahead wondering

5. A deceiving story end

You know, that ending in which you think her boy/girlfriend died ?! Like, really died And then BAM….

I just hate those. I really do. I don’t like being deceived.

6. When you think you have 10 pages left to read but…

These are the top 6 things I hate in a book.

About Cristina

I started this blog for quite a few reasons: 1. To share my opinions about books I read. (I'm open to recommendations) 2. To express myself in the only way that I love, which is of course writing 3. To connect with people with whom I may share the same interests I read and write because it offers me an escape door from the world we live in. A door which allows me to be whomever I want to be, live wherever in this big world, set off on adventures and most of all because it brings my imagination back to life from its very very long sleep. And of course...Because I love to !! Here are some basic things about your host and writer.. My name is Cristina and I come from Bucharest ( also known as The Little Paris ) were I was born, raised and am currently - still - living. I’ve finished my studies a few years ago and got my bachelor degree at Dimitrie Cantemir University, in my hometown; in Economics. I have to admit that this specialty wasn't my first choice. I have been weighing my choices – as in, to what they can provide me in future – both while I was still in high school and after. Initially I wanted to go to Foreign Languages, but I had a big fall the moment I saw that it wasn't acredited – huge disappointment washed over me. I am still a bit disappointed about that to be honest. I have a huge passion for writing ever since I was little, and even if I had times when I didn't (or couldn't) write anything, now I am right back on track. My dad is the only one who knows how much passion I put into what I write and doesn't giggle or grin when I bring it up. I love having someone’s support no matter how little it is,it still means so much to me. Love, Cris ♥ Hope that those who will follow me like what I post around here and - why not - maybe give some ideas about new topics. :) If anyone wants to add something on the blog please contact me at cristinacryss0@gmail.com
