July’s Ketchup

Can you believe it? July is coming to an end, and with it, Minutes Before Sunset has released. (Another release is on its way in August, but that’s for another post.) I’m unbelievably enthralled by your support this past month. Thank you. Thank you. Thank. You. And…you can win even MORE prizes soon. But I’ll talk more about that in this month’s Ketchup post.

For those of you just now checking in this month, Ketchup actually means “catch up”. At the end of every month, I write these posts describing what goes on behind the scenes at Some of the topics I cover include my big moments, top blog posts, my top referrer, #1 SEO term, YouTube videos, Members of the Week, and more in order to show insights that will hopefully help fellow bloggers see what was popular. I also hope it entertains the readers who…

Top 6 Reading Places

Before I start sharing my top 6 reading places, there is a small thought that I would like to share with you all.

I see that, it’s become an international – or should I rather say worldwide – trend to read anywhere you can. Now, don’t get me wrong on this. I don’t have anything against people reading almost  anywhere they can. I am only hoping to God that this is more than just a trend, and they are reading for themselves and with all their hearts; and not just for the sake of appearances. It warms my heart when I see someone reading.

Time for a small confession. I began reading – again – last year, and since then, I have become a bookaholic. And an actually, proud one. But this is another story that I will share with you all some other time. Now, as an avid reader that I am, I never dare leave the house without having a book in purse or bag. Book Blurb :
Two destinies. One death.

“Her kiss could kill us, and my consent signed our death certificates.”

Eric Welborn isn’t completely human, but he isn’t the only shade in the small Midwest town of Hayworth. With one year left before his eighteenth birthday, Eric is destined to win a long-raging war for his kind. But then she happens. In the middle of the night, Eric meets a nameless shade, and she’s powerful—too powerful—and his beliefs are altered. The Dark has lied to him, and he’s determined to figure out exactly what lies were told, even if the secrets protect his survival.

Jessica Taylor moves to Hayworth, and her only goal is to find more information on her deceased biological family. Her adoptive parents agree to help on one condition: perfect grades. And Jessica is distraught when she’s assigned as Eric’s class partner. He won’t help, let alone talk to her, but she’s determined to change him—even if it means revealing everything he’s strived to hide. Read the rest of this entry

Is anyone reading these days ?

In a world where things are evaluating very fast, where people are so eager to be on top of everyone, where most of the parents have forgotten how to think and not what to think,it’s no wonder that the world starts to go down. And it’s a complete shame,to be honest !

No one says that you shouldn’t watch TV,really. But do it moderately and watch something that’s really interesting. When it comes to the children’s’ cartoons these days…I’m really sorry to say that the cartoons that were on TV while I was a little kid were much, much better, and also had a very powerful message to deliver within the characters if you payed attention to them – nowadays you learn nothing from them – well, yes there are a few exceptions, but not as many as I wish there were.
